Hi, and welcome! 

 

I'm Adele; a professional dog groomer with over five years of hands-on experience and a genuine love for dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. While I adore every pup who walks through my door, I have a special soft spot for the golden oldies and the elegant sighthounds — they just tug at my heart a little extra.

Clients often tell me what they appreciate most is how I treat their dogs: with patience, kindness, and deep respect. I understand that grooming can be stressful for some dogs, especially seniors, nervous pups, or those with health challenges. That’s why I take my time and never rush the process. I don’t operate like a conveyor belt — every dog gets individual attention in a calm, gentle environment.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with many dogs who need extra care — from those who are blind or deaf, to dogs with arthritis, hip dysplasia, and mobility issues. We regularly welcome very elderly and frail dogs, including tripaws. Your dog’s comfort, safety, and dignity always come first.

I'm proud to be fully qualified with a City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming, and I hold an iPet Network Level 3 Certificate in Canine First Aid & CPR, renewed in November 2024. I also offer EmmiPet ultrasonic teeth cleaning, a gentle, non-invasive way to support your dog’s dental health.

We only use high-quality, mostly natural products, carefully selected to be kind to sensitive skin and coats — because your dog deserves nothing less.

I'm a member of the Pet Industry Federation (PIF) and the British Isles Grooming Association (BIGA). I’m also proud to hold BIGA’s Certificate of Assured Best Practice, a recognition of our commitment to the highest standards in grooming care, cleanliness, and client service.

Outside the salon, I’ve participated and placed in the Style to Rescue competition — a heartwarming event that gives rescue dogs some much-deserved pampering to help them find loving homes. I'm also committed to furthering my education and attend events and seminars whenever possible.
